| The city’s communications department provides a variety of services designed to keep the Burleson community informed about municipal services and programs and City-sponsored events. The public information officer (PIO) serves as the editor of the quarterly Burleson Progress Report newsletter, the weekly City E-Newsletter, and the City of Burleson, Texas Facebook page. The PIO also serves as the webmaster for the City’s website and monitors the City’s government access cable channel, Charter Cable channel 27. The PIO is the City’s liaison to media outlets, distributing news releases and responding to media requests for information. Cable Television and Internet Service Burleson’s City Cable Channel on Charter Cable has moved. Charter Communications has moved all of the area’s government access channels from Channel 7 to Channel 27, effective March 1, 2007. Cable television and internet services, including high speed internet, are available to most of the homes and businesses in Burleson. The location of each home or business determines which companies provide each type of service and not all areas of Burleson are currently served. To determine which company/companies serve your area, to ask questions regarding billing, or to report service problems, contact the companies at the numbers below.
