Government Access Channel

Burleson’s City Cable Channel on Charter Cable has moved. Charter Communications has moved all of the area’s government access channels from Channel 7 to Channel 27, effective March 1, 2007.  

As part of its franchise agreement with Charter Communications, the City of Burleson broadcasts information about City services on Charter cable channel 27. This government access channel provides information ranging from municipal department phone numbers to hours of operation for municipal facilities to dates of community events. The City's programming on this channel includes the broadcast of news programming from multiple branches of the U.S. military and other public service information.

City Cable Channel 27 is a government access channel, not a public access channel. The City of Burleson is the only entity authorized to develop programming for channel 27 in Burleson.
