Cut back on the number of loads of laundry you do and the length of and number of showers you take and you could lower your average wastewater bill for the rest of the year. The less water used during January-March, the lower your residential sewer bill will be year-round.

Two major road projects are underway (pdf)
The City of Burleson is working on two road construction projects that will make getting from one place to another smoother and quicker. Alsbury Boulevard, between Edgehill Road and Summercrest Boulevard, is being completely reconstructed and Arnold Avenue will be extended from the current dead end to Hwy. 174, across from Elk Drive.

All residents of the United States must be counted, as required by the United States Constitution. Your participation, as a citizen, is required by law.  A census worker may have been at your door this past spring when the Census was updating address lists. The actual 10-question census form will be mailed to residents, nationwide, in February/March 2010. Census Day is April 1, 2010.
