BIDDING PROCEDURES
The City of Burleson advertises all Invitations to Bid and Request for Proposals in the Burleson Star on Sunday or Wednesday of each week. The total value of each sealed advertised bid is estimated at $50,000 or more.
The City of Burleson currently uses Public Purchase for bid distribution. Bids may be obtained through the City of Burleson Purchasing internet site at the Vendor Registration link.
In order to register to do business with the City of Burleson please click on Vendor Registration to complete. Public Purchase is a web-based site that allows vendors to register to do business with the City through an easy to use NO COST web based form. After registration is approved, you must select the entities in which to do business. Be sure to select the City of Burleson in order to be notified of bid opportunities.
Once vendors are registered, they can manage their own profiles and update commodity codes, insurance information, or any other critical profile data. When bids are posted, vendors matching that commodity code profile are automatically notified of the bid so they can download it from the City’s website.
