The City of Burleson operates under the Council-Manager form of government. The City Council appoints the city manager who is the chief executive officer and head of the administrative branch of the city government. The city manager is responsible to the city council for the proper administration of all city affairs. The city manager and deputy city managers work closely with the City Council and the department directors to insure the highest quality of life to the residents and businesses of Burleson.
