Call to Order

WORK SESSION – 6:00 PM

1.

Finalize 2006 Bond Sale for Infrastructure and Other Capital Projects (follow-up to 2/18/06 Workshop)

2.

Quarterly Police Report.

3.

Discussion of all items on tonight’s meeting. No action will be taken and each item will be considered during the Regular Session.

4.

Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sec. 551.071, Sec. 551.072, 551.076, 551.087, and Section 418.183(f) of the Texas Government Code ( Texas Disaster Act). Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporated here in. Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the City Council to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted subject matter of this City Council meeting.

5.

Reconvene into open session for possible action resulting from any items posted and legally discussed in Executive Session.

Consent Agenda

Ordinance C-595-06, finding that the existing natural gas distribution rates of Atmos Mid-Tex should be reduced, and ordering Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division, to reduce its existing rates within the city. (Final reading)

D.

Ordinance C-594-06, adopting the official map of the City of Burleson, declaring said map to be the official boundaries of the corporate limits of the city and its extraterritorial jurisdiction as of the date of adoption. (Final reading)

Public hearing and consideration of a request by XTO Energy for a gas well drilling permit on 251.5 acres located north of County Road 714, west of Cozby Lane. (Case 06-048)

Public Hearing and consideration of the request of Victory Family Church for a waiver from the masonry construction ordinance on portions of a new worship center located at the northwest corner of John Jones Drive (FM 731) and Hillside Drive. (Case 06-050)

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Pursuant to Sec. 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the city council reserves the right to convene in Executive Session(s), from time to time as deemed necessary during this meeting for any posted agenda item, to receive advice from its attorney as permitted by law. (B) a settlement offer;
