Mobile Command Unit

In 2003, the City of Burleson was awarded a $455,374 State Homeland Security Grant by the Department of Homeland Security. The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) serves as the local grant administrator. The grant was awarded for the purchase of a mobile command vehicle. The command vehicle will serve public safety and emergency operation needs in the southern and southwestern portions of the 16-county region served by the NCTCOG.
