The Community Services Section has had an extensive Crime Prevention Program in place for several years. The Crime Prevention Program is headed by Crime Prevention Specialist/Accreditation Manager Paula Ibsen. Among the many programs she is responsible for are:

  • Neighborhood Watch
  • Stranger Danger
  • Child Find - Fingerprinting
  • Child Safety Programs
  • McGruff House
  • McGruff programs
  • Bicycle Safety
  • Bicycle Rodeo
  • Teddy Bear Program
  • and many others

Halloween
Make Halloween Safe and Fun

Many of the crime prevention programs are supported by citizen participation in organizing and providing volunteer support. Our Teddy Bear program is supported by numerous donations. A local car dealership furnishes the use of a car that is specially marked for Crime Prevention.
