The Records Section is responsible for all departmental records, documentation, identification, and records maintenance. Records has a documented security and automated systems. Records provides all statistical information for crime analysis and planning purposes.

Open record requests must be submitted to the City Secretary's Office - Records and Information Division.

Records is staffed with one Records Supervisor and two Records Clerks.
