(Spanish version)

        • Burleson receives its water supply from the City of Fort Worth via Cedar Creek Reservoir.
        • The City of Fort Worth also provides sewer treatment for Burleson.
        • All residential garbage service is provided by the City of Burleson, while commercial service by the city is optional.
        • A list of licensed commercial garbage providers can be obtained by contacting the Solid Waste Division at 817-426-9830. The city does not provide dumpster service.

New residents to the area need to contact the Utility Customer Service office at 817-426-9601 to set up new service. This requires completion of an application for service (see below). City ordinance requires that all residential water accounts be secured with a deposit of $135.00, or a letter of good credit from a previous 12 months of service. Commercial deposits are determined by meter size and/or type of business.

Effective May 01, 2009 the City implemented an “Identify Theft Program” to comply with Federal Regulation 63718- Identity Theft Red Flags Regulation- to detect, prevent and diminish identity theft in connection with the opening of water accounts. Due to this regulation, the City will accept applications by fax, but a customer’s identification will have to be verified in person, with their Driver License at the Utility Customer Service Dept, 141 W. Renfro St.

Please contact our office at 817-426-9601 for questions.

The following forms are available in Adobe PDF format to download and some are available in Formatt Filler format to fill in online and submit by email. The PDF forms must be mailed, faxed, or submitted in person to the Utility Customer Service Office. You can also access them from the forms page.
