| How do I open/close/transfer a water account? |
| Please contact the Utility Customer Service Office at 817-447-5400, x 224, 227, or 228, to set up, change, or close your account. There are required forms that have to be filled out by the customer- applications, transfer authorizations, and discontinuation forms- that can be faxed or e-mailed to the customer. Once these forms are completed and a deposit is paid (if necessary), then the account changes will be made.

What do I do if I have a water leak? |
First, water should be shut off to stop the loss of water. Most customers have a cut-off valve at their house ( near their front flower beds). If not, contact the Water Department at 817-447-5410 to request an emergency cut off. ( After hours and weekends, please call the Burleson Police Dept). Depending on where the leak is and how severe it is will determine if the homeowner can make the repairs himself, or if he will need to contact a plumber. |
| How/where do I pay my water bill? |
Water bills can be mailed to City Hall. The bill is sent with a return envelope for the customer's convenience. The drive up service area is open during regular business hours- 8:00 to 5:00 and a drop box is located here also. The physical address is 141 West Renfro St. |
| When are water payments due? |
| All bills are due within 20 days of the billing date. For example, if your account is billed on the last day of the month, it is due on the 20th. If your account is billed on the 15th day of the month it is due on the 5th. Billing dates may fluctuate occasionally, so please read your bill carefully. All bills must be paid within 30 days of the billing date. |
