We are hosting a free workshop for anyone in the community regarding ways to obtain high school equivalency, including how to prepare for the GED exam. Johnson County residents have access to many free resources as well as sources to pay for portions, or all, of the exam. This is not a GED prep class.
This FREE opportunity is brought to you by the Educational Opportunity Center.

Free GED Classes 

Summer Session begins July 10


Mondays and Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  


Adult Education GED preparation classes are designed to assist adults in preparing for the General Education Development (GED) examination. Instructors teach Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics according to each participants identified needs.

No registration is required. Seating is limited and on a "first come, first serve" basis. No admittance 15 minutes after start time. For more detailed information, please contact Denton ISD Adult Education and Literacy at 817-202-1108.
