Burleson's Great American Cleanup / Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off event
Come out and join the City of Burleson and Keep Burleson Beautiful with the Burleson Trash Bash on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Your commitment of two hours, 9 a.m.-11 a.m., will make a difference. This is a semiannual campaign to beautify Burleson. During the event, volunteers remove litter and debris from retail corridors, waterways, drainage channels, streets, parks, and other public areas. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but youth participants are required to have adult supervision. After the cleanup, volunteers will convene at Warren Park, 301 S.W. Johnson Ave., for free pizza and some prize drawings. To receive a free t-shirt, volunteers are asked to register starting three weeks prior to the event.
