Recycled Boat Regatta
Gather your recyclables and create a boat for the City's Recycled Boat Regatta on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Burleson Recreation Center, 550 NW Summercrest Blvd. The event is 9 a.m.- noon.

Participants must be 6 - 17 years of age and boats must be made from previously used, recycled material. Individuals or teams may participate. Any member of the team may pilot the boat. Burleson's Trash Bash / Keep Texas Beautiful Fall Sweep 
Come out and join the City of Burleson and Keep Burleson Beautiful with the Burleson Trash Bash on Saturday, September 5, 2020. Your commitment of two hours, 9 a.m.- 11 a.m., will make a difference. This is a semiannual campaign to beautify Burleson. During the event, volunteers remove litter and debris from retail corridors, waterways, drainage channels, streets, parks, and other public areas. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but youth participants are required to have adult supervision. Due to COVID-19, this year's materials will be picked up via drive through at Warren Park. Materials pickup will be between 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.. To receive a free t-shirt, volunteers are asked to register at least one week prior to the event.

Household Hazardous Waste, Electronic Recycling & Paper Shredding Event
The City is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection, Electronic Recycling and Paper Shredding event on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the City’s Service Center, 725 SE John Jones Dr. The event is 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and is only available to residents who live inside the Burleson city limits (proof of residency including a City water or solid waste bill is required).

Household hazardous waste items are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All electronics and appliances will be taken for free. TVs will be accepted at this event. There is no fee for paper shredding, but the volume is limited to three boxes per vehicle.
