Burleson Public Library
The Burleson Public Library offers a wide variety of educational services and opportunities from engaging youth to strengthening our economic and non-profit service capacity. Delve in to online language learning, downloadable eBooks and AudioBooks, and thousands of print materials. The library strives to provide a safe place after school for teens to engage in productive activities such as our youth robotics program, volunteering in the library, homework assistance, book groups, board and video game programs, and offers the Burleson Reads school year reading program and an exciting Summer Reading Club program for children, teens, and adults. Through college and career readiness initiatives in our teen services, students have the opportunity to interact with engineers and other key professions. The Burleson Public Library is one of only two libraries in Texas chosen to represent the state on a national grant funded initiative to expand volunteer opportunities in libraries. Our volunteer program engages youth with opportunities to serve and reduces senior isolation by building a bridge from the foundation of a lifetime of achievement to post retirement community service.
