The Burleson Municipal Court accepts cash, personal checks, (temporary checks are not accepted) money orders, cashier’s checks, and Visa and MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards.
When mailing personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks, be sure to include your name and case numbers with the checks for proper credit. A $35 fee will be charged for all returned checks, regardless of the reason for return. Payment for returned checks and fees must be by cash, money order or cashier’s check. Personal checks and credit cards will not be accepted to clear a returned check. Please do not mail cash.
