Testing Site


Burleson Public Health/Burleson Fire Department is experiencing a very high number of requests for COVID-19 testing at the city's drive-through site. Through a personal telephone call, Burleson Public Health continues scheduling drive-through appointment times for the public as they become available. Staff does this, so patients do not have to wait in long lines at the testing site. However, please understand appointment delays will likely be due to this vast number of testing requests.

If you feel you have COVID-19 symptoms, staying home isolated from other family members is still important until you can be tested. Burleson Public Health will continue to work with our community to get through this most recent substantial variant surge in COVID-19 cases.


Due to a highly transmissible variant and limited supply of COVID-19 tests, we are currently restricting COVID-19 testing to persons that are experiencing symptoms.

Testing will no longer be provided for the following:  (1) Persons who are not exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. (2) Situations listed below:

  • Return to work/school
  • Travel
  • Identified as a close contact by a person who has tested positive for COVID-19
