Our 90-minute computer stations are only available to library card holders; 15-minute passes are available at the information desk for library guests.
There are 2 early literacy stations in the children's area available for library users 12 and under. The Pit (Burleson Public Library's teen room) has 4 computers available for library card holders 12 - 17 years of age.
Laptops are available for checkout to Burleson Library card holders 18 and over. Laptops are for use inside the library only and have a 2-hour checkout period.
Printing cost is 10 cents per page (black and white) and 25 cents per page (color). 4GB USB flash drives may be purchased at the checkout desk for $6 and headphones may be purchased for $2.
Computer Use Guidelines
The daily time limit is 90 minutes for internet stations.
If you have more than $5 in fines you will not be able to access public computers.
Children 17 and under must have a library card and parental permission to use the computers.
Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult during computer use.
Please scan personal disks/flash drives for viruses before using them in library computers.
Internet filtering is in place for all patrons. Some websites may not be available at Burleson Public Library. An adult patron needing access to a filtered site for business or research purposes may request staff to allow access.
During regular operating hours, the library provides wireless internet connectivity as a service for patrons with wireless-enabled devices. To use the service, make sure that wireless connections are enabled on your computer. Then, connect to the network named COB_Guest. Open your browser to agree to the terms and conditions.
