The Burleson Museum and Visitors Center is located at 124 W. Ellison St., in the historic interurban depot. The center is owned by the City and managed by the Burleson Heritage Foundation. The center provides historical and tourist information to patrons; obtains and displays historically significant items; makes special arrangements for tour groups and school field trips to the center; and offers historically-related merchandise for sale.

The Burleson Museum and Visitors Center offers a glimpse of Burleson and Johnson County history through items of not only historical value, but sentimental value that are donated to the foundation by area families and businesses. The center is staffed by volunteers from the foundation.

Rail Car Kiosk

In 2010, the Burleson Heritage Foundation moved the restored #330 Rail Car to a pad site next to the Burleson Visitors Center. That pad site also contains 4 kiosks that detail the history of Burleson.
