Level 1 aims to make students learn to feel comfortable in the water.
Exit Skills Assessment
Child must be able to enter the water independently, using either the ladder, steps or side, travel at least 5 yards, bob 3 times, then safely exit the water. The child must be able to glide on front for at least 2 body lengths, roll to a back float for 3 seconds and recover to a vertical position in order to graduate to Level 2.
All sessions include four 55-minute classes one day per week for four weeks.
Session 1: Week of March 7 –28
Session 2: Week of April 4 –25
Session 3: Week of May 2 –23
