City releases 2019 Annual Report

2019 cover pageThe City of Burleson has released its 2019 Annual Report. The report includes top accomplishments of the organization from the past year and goals for the upcoming year. A key focus this past year has been on improving the city’s business processes and identifying cost containment strategies.

“These efforts will continue in 2020,” stated City Manager Bryan Langley. “And we will also be focused on the delivery of a number of capital projects.”

“As you read the annual report,” stated Mayor Ken Shetter. “Please join me in celebrating our city’s achievements that improve the quality of life for the community.” 

The 2019 Annual Report was released during CityFest on Jan. 29. CityFest is an event that connects Burleson residents with their city elected officials and representatives from city departments. 

“I look forward to 2020 and the opportunities that will arise to continue to make our city an even better place to live, learn, work and play,” stated Mayor Shetter.
