Please join us in congratulating Kelly Clute who was selected as the City of Burleson's employee of the fourth quarter. Kelly is the Circulation Supervisor at the Library.
She was nominated by several of her staff members for her innovative efforts during the ongoing pandemic to ensure citizens, especially vulnerable community members, could still participate in Library Services safely, troubleshooting and ensuring library technology is operating as needed in our digital environment, as well as being a consistent support and optimistic leader for her staff in rapidly changing times.
"Kelly has gone above and beyond to maintain an efficient and innovative circulation department before and during the pandemic," states her nomination form.
"She has risen to the challenge of providing services to patrons who are not able to come inside the library by providing curbside service and renewing cards over the phone to make e-resources more available. She continues to do all of the above with a positive attitude."
"Kelly boosts employee morale with her sincere demeanor and is always willing to go the extra mile both with patrons and co-workers."
Kelly has been with the City of Burleson for three years, starting in January 2018. Join us in congratulating Kelly in recognition of her valuable work and contributions to our community.
The city's employee of the quarter award is based on an employee's efficiency, transparency, honesty, innovation and customer service, all of which make up the city's ethics statement.
