    Bring your family and friends to this campout and enjoy nature at its finest. Boy Scouts and Master Naturalists will guide your way on nature trails, help you fish and lead in other fun activities. A hot dog dinner with marshmallows for dessert will be served. Don’t forget to pack snacks, a tent, flashlight and bug spray. Please, no open-flamed lanterns, grills, or pets. All ages are welcome.

  2. National Drug Take-Back Day

    The Burleson Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The event will be hosted at the Burleson Police Department, 1161 SW Wilshire Blvd. Residents may drop off unused, expired or unwanted medications, in both pill and liquid form, for safe disposal. This includes over-the-counter as well as prescription drugs. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. If you can't make the event there is a drug drop box located in the lobby of the Police Administration building, 1161 SW Wilshire Blvd. The box is available to the public Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
