Your kids will love this! Parks and Recreation is hosting the popular Far Out Family Campout and Fishing Adventure at Russell Farm Art Center. The overnight event kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday and wraps up at 8 a.m. on Sunday. A Burleson Community Resource Officer will be onsite with the parks staff. We will have archery lessons, fishing, a campfire, campfire stories, and a hot dog dinner with s'mores. Bring your own tent, fishing pole, and bait. Boy Scouts and Master Naturalists will guide your way on nature trails, help you fish, and coordinate other fun activities.
