Discover new flavors as participating Burleson restaurants submit their culinary creations inspired by the flavors of State Fair foods in this month-long contest! Get your passport stamped at each location and submit your stamped passport to City Hall for your chance to win a grand prize package from participating businesses. Contest ends Sept. 30.

You can make a difference, and have a lot of fun doing it!
Volunteers of all ages are invited to use the materials pickup at Warren Park between 8 - 9 a.m. to collect their trash bags and gloves before heading out to remove litter and debris from retail corridors, waterways, drainage channels, streets, parks, and other public areas. Youth participants are enthusiastically welcomed but must have adult supervision. Come out, enjoy the camaraderie, and leave knowing you have made a difference! Submit photo entries to the raffle prize drawing using the hashtag #BTXTrashBash on social media.

Old Town Burleson will host the 6th annual Old Town Picture Show series on Saturday nights in September. On Sept. 25, the movie will be "Footloose" Rated PG-13. The Old Town Picture Shows are FREE community events that encourage people from all over Tarrant & Johnson Counties to gather here in Old Town and enjoy family-friendly movies on a giant inflatable screen. The movies start at sunset in the Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza. JOIN US!

The READ Foundation will be leading a Green Energy Robotics class for 10-11 year olds. Over three Saturdays they will work together on a fun robotics project that shows the power of green energy. The program will occur three Saturdays in a row on September 25, October 2, and October 9. Your Eventbrite ticket will be good for all 3 programs. We hope you can join us!
Registration is required for this event and can be done through EventBrite starting September 1. Ages 10-11 only.
