  • Police Officer: Salary Range: $75,000 (Year 1) - $95,007.76 (Year 9)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Non-Certified Public Safety Recruit: At least 30 hours of college from an accredited college or university
  • Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certified: At least 30 hours of college from an accredited college or university, or 2 years of full-time paid police experience in Texas.
  • Veterans: College credits waived for military experience.
