Getting a library card is easy and convenient! Simply visit our library and present your photo ID and proof of address. You will get your card the same day with instant access to books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music and more.
Can't wait to start using the library? You may qualify for our eCARD if you are 18 or over and reside within the city limits of Burleson. eCARDs have full borrowing privileges and give you instant access to our digital library. You may need to come in to the library if we are unable to verify your residency.

Are library cards free?
Library cards are issued at no charge if:
- you live within the city limits of Burleson
- you own property within the city limits of Burleson
- you are a student, teacher or staff member of a K-12 school within the city limits of Burleson
- you have a valid TexShare card from your home library
Non-resident cards cost:
$12.50/year for seniors age 62 or older
$25/year for a single user
$50/year for a family membership
Opportunities are available for non-residents to qualify for a library card through volunteer service to the library. Please contact us for more information.
