MetroShare Libraries

The Burleson Public Library is a member of MetroShare Libraries, a library consortium serving a combined population of 274,000 north Texans over approximately 114 square miles in Tarrant, Johnson, Denton and Wise counties.  MetroShare was formed in 2021 as a way for libraries to collaborate services--pooling resources, sharing costs, gaining new users, broadening collections, strengthening program initiatives and sharing local expertise.

MetroShare Libraries accept each other's library cards, so your Burleson Public Library card will be honored at any of these locations.

MetroShare Libraries also share physical materials via a courier service, so you may use our online catalog to request items from any of these libraries and they will be sent to Burleson.

Each of the MetroShare Libraries have programs and classes to attend. Contact each library or check out their website for more details.
