    Mondays and Tuesdays, beginning July 10 through August 8, 3 to 5 p.m. This is a basic class for persons new or needing review on computers. Get an introduction to the internet and MS Office products: Word, Excel and Powerpoint. General questions welcome from students for personal computer use. Students will practice with text and formatting techniques with class exercises. Class size is limited, so register now for these FREE computer classes by calling 817-426-9211. In partnership with Denton ISD Adult Education and Literacy.

    Local author Lexie Hobby will be here to sign her book, Thyme for Change. Ms. Hobby is a recent graduate of Nazarene Christian Academy. She is headed to Howard Payne University in Brownwood to major in History and English and plans to one day earn her Master of Library Science degree. She is a regional finalist in the creative writing competition with the ACSI and had her short story published. She has albinism and is legally blind. Copies of Thyme for Change will be available to purchase.
