Joining The Friends Of The Library

You should become a member of the Friends because you: 

  • Recognize the educational and recreational value of the library to the community
  • Understand that participation is the only way this volunteer organization can continue to extend its services to the library
  • Want to work with people who appreciate the library and its services

Friends of the Burleson Library logo Purpose & Function

Organized in 1989, the Friends of the Burleson Public Library is nonprofit and is comprised of individuals, businesses, and organizations with a mutual goal of support for the library.


Friends of the Library Craft Fair

Saturday, March 7, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Burleson Senior Activities Center

Everyone is invited to the Friends of the Library craft fair benefitting the library's Summer Reading Club programming. Shop for one-of-a-kind handmade items from local vendors to help support the cause!

The Burleson Senior Activities Center is located at 216 SW Johnson Ave.

If you would like to support the Friends, you can make a one-time donation of any amount via PayPal.

  

Donate via North Texas Giving Day

Make a one-time donation of any amount through the North Texas Giving Day website.

The Friends of the Burleson Public Library:

  • Conduct ongoing fund-raising projects
  • Encourage citizens to use the library and its services
  • Serve as ambassadors of goodwill for the library
  • Sponsor and underwrite programs for the library that are not included in the budget
  • Sponsor special events, such as contests, programs, and receptions
  • Volunteer time and resources for regular daily tasks and special projects
