The Law Enforcement Explorer program provides educational training programs for young adults on the purposes, mission, and objectives of law enforcement. The program provides career orientation experiences, leadership opportunities, and community service activities. The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path within law enforcement and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and the nation. Explorers must be at least 14 years of age and have completed the eighth grade.
Requirements
- All participants must maintain passing school grades in all classes.
- Participants cannot be under the supervision of any criminal court (probation, parole etc…).
- All participants must have a true desire and the ability to seek employment in law enforcement as a future career.
