Why did they leave my garbage, leaves, or limbs behind?

All garbage must be set out to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. If the garbage is out on time and not collected, please contact the Public Works Department at 817-426-9835.  Tree limbs cut to 4-foot lengths or shorter are collected on a monthly basis. There is no need to call in for a tree limb pick up because the brush collection truck crews survey the city by zones and collect tree limbs as they are found. Solid waste crews will provide a list of tree limbs/brush locations for collection by the brush truck operator. Smaller tree limb piles may be collected by the solid waste crews when they complete their regular routes; however, larger piles must be collected by the brush truck operator. Storm debris and heavy trimming associated with the spring can sometimes results in collection delays of up to 30 days.
