COVID-19 Status Update

To protect everyone’s health during the COVID-10 pandemic; our Open Burleson In-Person plan is in motion and working well.  Above all else, we want to provide a safe working environment for the residents of Burleson, the public, and our City teams. 

We will continue to encourage the use of online resubmittals to your Case Manager. Please ensure that all materials provided have contact information included so that staff can confirm receipt. 

We intend to continue to accept new submittals in accordance with our normal schedule in-person and online.  The preference will be for online submissions; please use the following email address beginning June 1, 2020, if needed,  Staff will follow up if hard copies are needed. If you submit an application, our administrative staff will be in contact with you regarding fee payment options.

The mission of Planning and Zoning is to establish conceptually viable planning principles and policies to help guide and manage development patterns in the City. This division supports the City Manager’s Office, City Council, and other City boards and commissions on matters affecting planning, growth and development in the City. The division also coordinates planning and development-related matters with landowners, developers, and other City departments and agencies.
