Overview and Duties

The Police Records section is responsible for:

• The daily processing and maintenance of all police offense, arrest and accident reports using an automated system to secure documents and maintain integrity
• Providing statistical information for crime analysis and planning purposes
• Processing all Open Records Request that pertain to law enforcement records

How to make a record request? 

• Online
• In-person at the Burleson Police Department, 1161 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson
• Via mail to 1161 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson, TX 76028
• By fax (817) 426-9388 
• Any non-police city records need to be requested through the Public Information/Open Records at City Hall or online.
