Winter Weather Trash & Recycling Updates

Solid Waste will run as scheduled Thursday, Jan. 29.

Zone 4 Bulk Trash: will be collected, but may extend into next week. Please leave at curb. 

Waste Connections Cancels Tuesday Collection Services

Waste Connections has canceled all solid waste and recycling collection services for Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to continued winter weather conditions.

Residents whose regular solid waste collection day is Tuesday will receive service on Friday, Jan. 30, their next scheduled collection day,.

For residents whose recycling collection day falls on Tuesday, recycling will be collected on Tuesday, Feb. 2, the next scheduled recycling day. This adjustment allows crews to prioritize solid waste collection as services resume.

Bulk trash collection for Zone 4 residents will take place once solid waste collection resumes. Crews will make every effort to complete bulk collection service this week; however, some bulk pickups may carry over into next week depending on weather conditions and operational impacts.

The City of Burleson apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates residents’ patience and understanding as crews work through weather-related delays.

Waste Connections has canceled all solid waste and recycling collection services for Monday, Jan. 26, due to winter weather conditions. A determination regarding service for Tuesday has not yet been made. Updates will be shared as soon as additional information becomes available.

Residents whose regular solid waste collection day is Monday will receive service on their next scheduled collection day, Thursday.
