Economic Development

The City of Burleson is committed to the promotion and retention of high quality development within the City of Burleson and to better the quality of life for its citizens. The City’s economic development programs are supported by tax dollars and are designed to attract industry and investment, generate additional sales tax, enhance our property tax base, create jobs, and otherwise grow the economy. The City offers a number of incentives for new, expanding, and relocating companies.

The City of Burleson is working to improve the transparency of its Economic Development programs as it relates to the Texas State Comptroller of Public Accounts Transparency Stars program. The City negotiates each agreement on an individual basis.
