Human Resources plays a critical role in supporting employees and connecting the community with essential services, and within that team are individuals who go above and beyond to assist others with professionalism and care. This quarter, the City of Burleson is proud to recognize an employee whose dedication, compassion and customer service set her apart. Please help us congratulate Terri Lynch, Benefits and Wellness Administrator, the city's Employee of the Fourth Quarter for 2025.

Terri joined the City of Burleson in April 2023 and is a valued member of the Human Resources (HR) Department. She was nominated and selected for her exceptional customer service, approachable nature and willingness to assist others beyond her regular responsibilities. Terri is known for her steady support of employees and residents.

Recently, Terri helped a citizen who came to the HR office seeking assistance with a Social Security matter. Although it was not part of her job duties, she spent nearly 30 minutes helping him access documents in his email so he could resolve his issue. Her patience and follow-through made a meaningful difference in the outcome. Terri also provides ongoing guidance to employees navigating their benefits and dedicates personal time to supporting veterans in the community.

Terri’s dedication and commitment to service strengthen our organization and reflect the values we strive to uphold. She will be recognized at the City Council meeting on January 5, 2026. The city’s Employee of the Quarter award is based on efficiency, transparency, honesty, innovation and customer service — the values at the heart of the city's ethics statement.
