The City of Burleson is in daily communication concerning public health threats including the Coronavirus. The city’s Fire / EMS Department and Emergency Management work together with Tarrant County Health and Human Services and hold daily conference calls with the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Burleson Fire/EMS is working closely with the Medical Director of the Metropolitan Area EMS Authority and has implemented specific “Medical Directives” concerning COVID -19. Collectively the city is continuously monitoring for the Coronavirus and to date there have not been any cases of Coronavirus in North Texas.

In addition to the daily contact and sharing information with Local, State, and Federal partners in this process, we encourage residents to keep up to date on how to help prevent and treat the Novel Coronavirus “COVID-19”, by regularly viewing the online resources provided below:
