City facilities, with the exception of public safety, will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24 and Friday, December 31 in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Trash & curbside recycling will not be affected by Christmas or New Year’s holiday, due to both holidays occurring on a Saturday this year (residential trash or recycling collections do not occur on Saturdays). Regular trash and recycling collections will occur on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, please remember to have your trash set out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled trash collection day to ensure collection.

Hidden Creek Golf Course will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 25 but will be open regular hours – 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. – Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
The BRiCk will be closing at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. The facility will be closed all day Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. The library will be closed Dec. 24 – Dec. 25, as well as Jan. 1 and will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31.
Senior Activity Center and the Burleson Animal Shelter will be closed Dec. 23, 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.
