Winter Weather Update (Friday, Feb. 4)
The sun is shining and temperatures are in the upper 20's currently. Most of the major streets are drivable, but neighborhood streets are still concerning. If you are driving, remember to go slow and keep at least three car lengths between the car in front of you.
Public Works crews will continue sanding all major roadways through 5 p.m. tomorrow.
The accumulated ice will refreeze overnight. For the safety of our patrons and staff, city facilities will have a delayed opening of noon tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 5. These facilities include the Burleson Recreation Center, Burleson Public Library, Burleson Animal Shelter and Russell Farm Art Center.
