On October 12, Environmental Services staff were notified that mosquitoes in zones 2, 7, and 10 traps tested positive for West Nile Virus.
- Zone 2 is in the area of Houston, Renfro and Cindy Court
- Zone 7 is in the area of Alsbury, Renfro, Douglas, and Wilshire Blvd.
- Zone 10 is in the area of Peach Lane, Walnut Street, Alsbury Boulevard, and Renfro Street.
In response, the city’s contractor will conduct truck-based spraying sometime between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15, in the affected zones.
