[ARCHIVED] Christmas and New Year’s City Closures

City Hall will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day.  

There will be no trash or curbside recycling collection on Monday, Dec. 25. or Monday, Jan. 1 If you are on the Monday-Thursday route, your trash will be collected on Thursday, Dec. 28. and Thursday, Jan. 4.  

Please remember to have your trash set out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled trash collection day to ensure collection. Collections during the week after Christmas may be delayed due to extra trash accumulated from Christmas. If your trash is not collected on your regular trash day, due to additional volume, please leave your trash out and it will be collected the next day.  

The BRiCk will be open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. The facility will be closed all day Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.  

The Burleson Public Library will be closed Dec. 25 – Dec. 26, as well as Jan. 1 (the library is closed on Sundays).

Hidden Creek Golf Course will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 25 but will be open regular hours – 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. – Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.    

The Burleson Animal Shelter will be closed Dec. 25 – Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, but will be open normal hours (11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) on Saturday, Dec. 23 (the shelter is closed on Sundays).

Senior Activity Center and Russell Farm Art Center will be closed Dec. 23 – 26 and Dec. 30 - Jan. 1.
