Last chance to vote in the city’s general election is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at Burleson Sub-Courthouse, 247 Elk Drive, Room 212, Burleson. This year’s race includes council places 1, 3 and 5.
In council place 1, incumbent Victoria Johnson is challenged by Steve McAnally. Council place 3, left open by incumbent Ronnie Johnson's decision not to run, has two candidates: Alexa Boedeker and Brandon Crisp. Incumbent Dan McClendon runs unopposed for council place 5.
