At the special meeting of the City Council on Monday, May 13, at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 141 W Renfro Street, Burleson, the results of the May 4, 2024, General Election will be canvassed. Following this, the oath of office will be administered to Victoria Johnson for Council Place 1, Alexa Boedeker for Council Place 3, and Dan McClendon for Council Place 5. Victoria Johnson has been reelected to her second consecutive term on the city council. Alexa Boedeker will be serving her first term on the city council. Dan McClendon was reelected to the city council, where he has served continually since 2007. View the election results.
