In the wake of recent storms, the City of Burleson is providing residents with guidelines for proper disposal of downed tree limbs and storm debris. Residents are encouraged to place debris at the curb on their scheduled bulk pickup day to ensure timely collection.
Bulk pickup guidelines include:
• Placement: Limbs and debris should be within two (2) feet of the curb, away from mailboxes, fire hydrants, and other fixed structures.
• Size Requirements: Limbs and branches must be cut into six (6) foot sections for large brush pickup.
• Restrictions: Full trees and tree trunks are not eligible for collection.
Residents can check their bulk pickup schedule here and find more details on accepted bulk items here.
Additionally, residents who sustained property damage from the storm are encouraged to report it through the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT) Damage Survey. A video tutorial and more details can be found here.
