 Trash and curbside recycling will not be affected by the holiday and will run as scheduled. Please make sure trash and recycling are at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. 

Many city facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Exceptions include the BRiCk, which will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the outdoor pool, which will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. The splash pad, which is free, will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with special operating hours for children 5 and under from 8 to 10 a.m. Hidden Creek Golf Course will be open for regular play from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (last tee time at 2 p.m.). Public safety personnel will be working on July 4 to keep everyone safe, and the parks and recreation staff will be hosting Red, White, and BTX, the city’s 4th of July event at Chisenhall Fields, starting at 5 p.m.
