[ARCHIVED] Tuesday solid waste and recycling collection canceled

Waste Connections has canceled all solid waste and recycling collection services for Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to continued winter weather conditions.

Residents whose regular solid waste collection day is Tuesday will receive service on Friday, Jan. 30, their next scheduled collection day,.

For residents whose recycling collection day falls on Tuesday, recycling will be collected on Tuesday, Feb. 2, the next scheduled recycling day. This adjustment allows crews to prioritize solid waste collection as services resume.

Bulk trash collection for Zone 4 residents will take place once solid waste collection resumes. Crews will make every effort to complete bulk collection service this week; however, some bulk pickups may carry over into next week depending on weather conditions and operational impacts.

The city of Burleson apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates residents’ patience and understanding as crews work through weather-related delays.
