Definitions
When trash and debris accumulate, it is not only unsightly but very unhealthy. Any property, public or private, should be kept free of unsightly accumulation of litter, garbage and/or junk which may become unsanitary or offensive. This includes but is not limited to:
- Appliances
- Batteries
- Brush
- Furniture
- Limbs
- Tires
Violators are issued a warning notice to perform specific action within an allotted time frame. If individuals fail to maintain a clean property, citations can be issued. In certain situations, the City may abate the nuisance and bill the property owner for the cleanup of the property.
