Overflowing Dumpsters

Definitions

Overflowing dumpsters can create an unsightly and unsanitary nuisance for neighbors and adjoining businesses. Containers must be emptied as often as necessary to prevent the garbage from becoming foul and from providing a breeding place for insects or rodents. Dumpsters must have operable lids which remain shut except during the loading and unloading of dumpsters. Arrangements may need to be made for additional and/or larger dumpsters if overfilling becomes a problem.
