Electronics
- The City of Burleson hosts one Recycling Event and one Household Hazardous Waste Event each year. Find out when the next event is.
- Goodwill Thrift Store, 1725 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson, will accept all electronics except for televisions and CRT monitors.
- Best Buy is another good resource for electronics recycling, a recycling fee for TVs and computers may be charged.
Old Computers

- Environmental Collection Center 6400 Bridge St, Fort Worth, TX 76112, proof of Burleson Solid Waste bill is required.
- Many national retailers accept rechargeable batteries for recycling, including Batteries Plus Bulbs, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's Staples, Target and Verizon Wireless.

- Some auto service centers accept used motor oil from the public, including O-Reilly Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Tractor Supply, Walmart. For more information.
Antifreeze

Tires
- Four tires per household are accepted at Burleson's Hazardous Household Waste Collection event. For dates and times.
- The Cleburne Transfer Station, 2625 Pipeline Rd, Cleburne, TX 76033 accepts tires for the following fees: Passenger tire, $3 each; Semi-truck tire, $15 each; and Tractor tire, $40 each.
Scrap Metal
- Recycle scrap metal by contacting local scrap dealers. Run a search for “Recycling Centers” or “Scrap Metals.”
